Jambo Mara Safari Lodge is a luxurious and eco-friendly lodge in Maasai Mara National Reserve. Our lodge is located within Maasai Mara National reserve, 11KM away from the Sekenani Gate which is the main gate of Maasai Mara National reserve; 20KM away from the keekorok airstrip; 220KM away from Nairobi.
The lodge is located at the heart of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in a jungle surrounded by two streams which is also one of the important water sources of Maasai Mara National reserve. The place is rich with an abundance of indigenous wildlife.
The Lodge boasts 108 cottages (50 wooden cottage cabins, 55 deluxe glass cottages, 2 business suites and 1 presidential suite), each of which enjoys a spacious en-suite bathroom which equipped with showers, hand wash basins, flush toilets and a private terrace where you can relax and let pass by your impressions collected during an eventful day on safari. All rooms have a separate balcony with views.
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel, or place of residence at 07:30 am, after a short briefing about the safari, depart for Masai Mara with stopovers on the way to have spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley. Lunch will be served at the lodge in Masai Mara. At 1600hrs proceed for an afternoon game in the reserve before returning to the lodge for dinner. Dinner and Overnight at the reserved lodge or camp
Day 2: Morning and Afternoon Game Drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve
On this day you will have a morning game drive where you will drive across the plains in search of the big five and other wild animals before returning to the lodge for breakfast. The remainder of the morning is spent enjoying the lodge or camp facilities. After lunch as from 1600hrs proceed for an afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner. Day 3: Depart Masai Mara for Nairobi
After Breakfast, check out and enjoy an early game drive which marks the end of the tour. Later depart for Nairobi. Drop off on the hotel of your choice or at the airport to catch a flight.
